ROAD COLLAPSED IN ARNAVUTKÖY AFTER RAIN, LIGHT COMMERCIAL VEHICLE GOT STUCK IN THE PIT
On Ören Street in Mareşal Fevzi Çakmak Neighborhood of Arnavutköy, a collapse occurred after heavy rain on the street where infrastructure work had previously been carried out by İSKİ teams and where road arrangements were stated to be not yet completed. Due to the collapse, a light commercial vehicle on the street got stuck in the resulting pit and remained trapped.

As a result of the collapse that occurred in the ground due to the effect of the rain, the light commercial vehicle could not get out of where it was on its own. Following the report of citizens who saw that the vehicle was stuck, Arnavutköy Municipality teams were dispatched to the address.
MUNICIPAL TEAMS CAME TO THE AID OF THE TRAPPED VEHICLE
Municipal teams arriving at the scene began work to rescue the vehicle trapped on the collapsed road by means of construction machinery. With the intervention of the teams, the light commercial vehicle was removed from where it was stuck, and it was reported that no injuries occurred in the incident.
FLOODING ON MAHMUTBEY-HABİPLER ROAD: TRAFFIC ALMOST CAME TO A HALT
The downpour also negatively affected transportation on the Mahmutbey-Habipler road, one of the city's important transportation axes. Along with the rain, serious water accumulations and flooding occurred in some sections of the road. On the route where drivers had difficulty passing, traffic almost came to a standstill because vehicles could not advance. The long vehicle queues and traffic density that formed in the area were captured from the air.
ROADS FLOODED IN BAŞAKŞEHİR, VEHICLES TRAPPED
After the warnings of the Meteorology, the rain also intensified its effect in Başakşehir. Süleyman Demirel Boulevard in Ziyagökalp Neighborhood of Başakşehir was completely covered with water after heavy rain. As the roads turned into lakes, many vehicles were trapped in the water, while drivers and citizens experienced difficult moments.
WOMAN SWEPT AWAY BY WATER IN ESENYURT WAS DRAGGED LIKE THIS
After the downpour that was effective in Dereyolu Hürriyet Neighborhood of Esenyurt district, the streets almost turned into rivers. In the neighborhood where the roads turned into lakes, a woman caught in the floodwaters was dragged for meters. Citizens around who saw the woman being dragged rushed to help and pulled her out of the water. In the neighborhood where vehicles were submerged in water, the moments when the woman was dragged and rescued were recorded moment by moment with a mobile phone camera.
BAŞAKŞEHİR OLYMPIC METRO STATION FLOODED, CITIZENS EXPERIENCED DIFFICULT MOMENTS
While the downpour turned roads into lakes throughout Başakşehir, water was seen flowing over the walls like a waterfall. Due to the rain, Başakşehir Olympic Metro Station was also flooded. Citizens who wanted to use the station and board the metro experienced difficult moments due to water accumulations.
HACIOSMAN METRO STOP FLOODED
The downpour continuing throughout the city also caused flooding at the Hacıosman metro stop in Sarıyer. Metro passengers who saw water flowing heavily from the ceiling panels were greatly astonished. Citizens who wanted to use the metro tried to advance by passing through areas where water was not flowing from the ceiling in order not to get wet.
MİMAR SİNAN STATE HOSPITAL IN BÜYÜKÇEKMECE FLOODED
Another point affected by the rain was healthcare facilities. Mimar Sinan State Hospital in Büyükçekmece was flooded. The moments when hospital corridors were partly covered with water and water flowed from inside and around the elevators whose doors were closed were reflected in the mobile phone cameras of citizens in the hospital.
UNDERPASS FLOODED IN SULTANGAZİ, VEHICLES TRAPPED
An underpass in Malkoçoğlu Neighborhood of Sultangazi was completely closed as a result of water accumulation caused by the rain. A vehicle trying to pass through the underpass was trapped in the rising water. Citizens in the vehicle stuck in the middle of the water accumulation experienced moments of fear. Teams' evacuation and rescue efforts continue throughout the city.
