Those walking along the shore of Denizköşkler Neighborhood noticed a person lying face down and motionless in the sea. Upon notification by private security guards, police, marine police, health, and fire department teams were dispatched to the scene.

The body of the woman, whose bag was found on the rocks by the shore, was retrieved from the sea by the teams. The body of the woman, whose identity has not yet been determined, was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for an autopsy after the crime scene investigation.
