A leopard attacked a group having a picnic in Madhya Pradesh, India. The incident, which occurred on October 20, left three people injured, while dozens experienced great panic. In footage recorded by witnesses, it can be seen that the group of about 60 people was enjoying themselves in the park area when they were unexpectedly confronted by a leopard attack. Initially, the group called the animal by saying "come, come," but they were met with great fear when the leopard suddenly sprang out from between the trees. The first person attacked by the leopard was 23-year-old Akash Kushwaha. According to a report by the Times of India, an off-duty police officer and a woman were also injured in the attack. It was reported that two people suffered serious injuries to their heads. The footage also captures moments when four people bravely returned to help the injured person. Other picnickers, who fled in panic, escaped with minor injuries. Local authorities have warned to avoid provoking wild animals and to maintain a safe distance when encountering them. Recently, similar wild animal attacks around the world have also drawn attention. The serious injury of 23-year-old Takuma Goto from a dolphin attack in Japan and a tourist being attacked by a shark in Honduras highlight the dangers of human-wildlife encounters.
