The process of privatizing vehicle inspection stations across Turkey has begun. This initiative aims to ensure that the stations provide services more effectively and efficiently. The Privatization Administration announced that the process related to this has started.
The Privatization Administration (ÖİB) affiliated with the Ministry of Treasury and Finance has initiated the tender process for the privatization of vehicle inspection stations. The tender will include the construction, maintenance, and operation services of vehicle inspection stations for two separate regions.
HERE ARE THE TENDER TERMS AND DETAILS
According to ÖİB's official announcement, vehicle inspection stations in Region 1 and Region 2 will be privatized by granting a concession right within the framework of relevant laws. The process will continue for 20 years.
The fee for the tender specifications for each region has been set at 750 thousand lira, while the temporary guarantee fee has been announced as 15 million dollars. The deadline for submitting final bids to participate in the tenders has been determined as January 10, 2025.
THE TENDER WILL BE CONDUCTED BY NEGOTIATION METHOD
Tenders will be conducted by collecting bids in a sealed envelope and holding negotiations. Additionally, it will be concluded by an auction method.
PAY ATTENTION TO THE DETAIL IN THE APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS!
Bidders must have worked as an operator or subcontractor in the vehicle inspection sector for at least 5 years and must document that they have conducted inspection processes for a total of 1 million vehicles in the last 5 years.
