A male corpse was found by the stream in the Sinekli plateau of Düzce. It was determined that the unidentified man, approximately 60 years old, had multiple stab wounds on his body and was shot in the nape of the neck. It is believed that the elderly man fell from the cliff to the streamside after being shot. The gendarmerie has launched an investigation into the incident.

LIFELESS BODY FOUND BY THE STREAM
The incident occurred in the evening hours at the Sinekli plateau location in Düzce. Citizens going to the plateau noticed a person lying motionless by the stream and notified the gendarmerie. Upon the report, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene.
BOTH STABBED AND SHOT
In the examination by gendarmerie teams, according to initial findings, multiple knife wounds were found on the elderly man's body. Additionally, it was determined that the elderly man was shot in the back of the neck. No cell phone or identification was found on the deceased, and it is considered possible that the man fell from a cliff to the stream edge after being shot.
Gendarmerie teams continue their investigations to identify the man and collect evidence in the area. An investigation has been launched into the incident.
