FOUND HANGING FROM AN ELECTRICITY POLE
The incident occurred in the Samankaya neighborhood of the Defne district. In the early morning hours, citizens who noticed the body of a man hanging from an electricity pole reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon the report, fire department, health, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the area.
BELIEVED TO HAVE COMMITTED SUICIDE
The lifeless body of the person was brought down from where it was found by fire department teams and was identified as 50-year-old S.E. The person's body was taken to the morgue for an autopsy. According to initial assessments, it was learned that the person is believed to have committed suicide and was known to use substances in the area.
Gendarmerie teams have launched an investigation into the incident.
