OPERATION CARRIED OUT AS HE PREPARED TO FLEE
According to information received, units of the Izmir Provincial Gendarmerie Command learned that convict Ş.G.Ş., who had a finalized 25-year prison sentence for 8 separate crimes, was hiding in the Kadıovacık neighborhood of Urla district and was preparing to flee abroad.
TURNED BEDROOM INTO A WORKSHOP
In the operation conducted with MİT support, Ş.G.Ş. was caught with a fake ID. During searches of his home, 2 kilograms of cannabis resin and a greenhouse setup capable of producing drugs using a climate control method were seized in the bedroom. The convict was handed over to prison after processing at the gendarmerie.
