A motorcycle accident in the Erdek district of Balıkesir resulted in the death of a young medical student.

A medical faculty student, Musa Kınay (23), lost his life after crashing his motorcycle into a tree on the median in the Erdek district of Balıkesir, having lost control of the vehicle. The accident occurred around 00:30 on the Bandırma road in the Erdek district of Balıkesir. The motorcycle with the license plate 16 BIE 319, driven by Musa Kınay, a student at Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University Faculty of Medicine, went out of control while traveling from Bandırma to Erdek. Kınay lost control of the motorcycle, which veered onto the median and crashed into a tree. The medical faculty student was thrown off the overturned motorcycle and was dragged for several meters.

AN INVESTIGATION HAS BEEN INITIATED REGARDING THE ACCIDENT

Upon receiving reports from citizens who witnessed the accident, police and medical teams were dispatched to the area. The medical teams that arrived at the scene determined that Kınay had lost his life after conducting checks. The body of Musa Kınay was sent to the Bursa Forensic Medicine Institute Morgue for an autopsy after the examination by the Public Prosecutor. An investigation has been initiated regarding the accident.
