The changes made by the Ministry of Industry and Technology and the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK) regarding the regulation for tracking Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinders in the market have been published in the Official Gazette. DEADLINE IS DECEMBER 31According to the new regulation, distributors will be required to establish a tracking system for LPG cylinders by December 31, 2025. THEY WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN FILLING FACILITIESFurthermore, from this date onwards, LPG cylinders that are not identified or do not have a QR code label will not be allowed in filling facilities. Additionally, the filling and sale of such cylinders will not be permitted. The regulation aims to ensure the traceability of LPG cylinders, enhancing safety and combating unregistered activities.
