In the Turkish Grand National Assembly General Assembly, a parliamentary investigation proposal to comprehensively investigate the incidents that occurred in schools in Şanlıurfa and Kahramanmaraş, as well as the risks and negative effects children encounter in digital environments, was unanimously accepted.

The Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) General Assembly took a critical step following consecutive school attacks in Şanlıurfa and Kahramanmaraş.

UNANIMOUSLY ADOPTED

All parties with groups in the Parliament reached a consensus on establishing an investigation commission. The parliamentary investigation motion to comprehensively investigate the incidents occurring in schools and the risks and negative effects children encounter in digital environments was unanimously adopted.

COMMISSION'S WORKING METHOD WILL BE DETERMINED

The name, scope, and working procedure of the commission will also be clarified in the final session. The planned commission is expected to prepare concrete proposals for enhancing security standards in educational institutions.
