A passenger bus lost control and plunged from a ramp into a river at the São Francisco Port in northern Brazil. In the horrifying moments captured on camera, some passengers escaped through the windows, while fire crews launched a search for those submerged underwater.
In the accident that occurred at the São Francisco Port in northern Brazil, a bus carrying passengers exited a ramp and fell into the river. The terrifying moments were captured on cameras by those nearby, while numerous fire and rescue teams were dispatched to the scene.
In the footage, passengers on the bus, which began to sink into the water, can be seen frantically trying to exit through the windows. Some passengers managed to reach a nearby boat and escape, while others remained submerged with the bus.

Retired Maria das Dores, who survived the accident, described her terrifying moments: "I thought I was going to die. I experienced the most horrifying moments of my life. People were screaming, trying to throw themselves out. The bus came down the ramp quickly, and everything happened in an instant." Of the approximately 10 to 12 people on the bus, eight, including Dores, were taken to the hospital.
Describing her struggle, Dores said, "I couldn't get out of the bus and sank with it. I don't know how to swim, but I did my best to survive."

Following the incident, two fire rescue teams and expert divers launched an extensive search operation in the area. While efforts continue to locate other passengers who remain submerged, it was reported that an investigation into the accident has been opened and the bus driver's statement has been taken. Authorities also announced that psychological support teams have been assigned for the affected passengers and their families.
