Farmer Murat Eken, who claims that his animals perished due to negligence and demands compensation for his loss of 750,000 TL, stated, "The incident occurred yesterday morning. The problem is not related to our operation. We reported the situation to the authorized electricity distribution company, Fırat Aksa. The teams said that the electric cables had short-circuited during their inspection. I lost 4 animals, and I have a loss of 750,000 TL. I cannot leave my other animals in the barn out of fear. I have filed a complaint due to the situation," he said.
