A series of measures have been taken regarding the brawls that occurred in the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM).

The Parliament will open on October 1st. Preparations have been accelerated beforehand. An emergency button application is being implemented due to the fights that have caused health issues in the General Assembly.

EMERGENCY BUTTON WILL BE ACTIVATED

Recently, fights have occurred in the Parliament General Assembly. Saadet Party Kocaeli deputy Hasan Bitmez suffered a heart attack and subsequently passed away. The Presidency of the Parliament has also taken the precaution of an "emergency button" regarding incidents that may occur in the General Assembly.

The Parliament administration has accelerated preparations for the 28th Term 2nd Legislative Year, which will open on October 1st. According to a report by Sabah Newspaper, a comprehensive cleaning is being carried out, including the ruling and opposition lobbies, group meeting rooms, deputy offices, commission meeting rooms, and press conference rooms, and maintenance is being reviewed. The sound system, which frequently malfunctions due to fights in the General Assembly, has also been repaired.

DOCTOR WILL ARRIVE IN ONE MINUTE

Additionally, the emergency button has been activated by the Presidency of the Parliament in response to the bloody fights that occurred in the General Assembly and the cases of deputies suffering heart attacks. According to this new measure; the deputy speakers managing the TBMM General Assembly will press the red button placed at the presidential podium in the event of a deputy falling ill or injuries occurring during a fight, and will call the 112 Emergency Service doctors in the Honor Hall. Doctors will arrive in the General Assembly hall within one minute. Drills regarding the emergency button application are also being conducted.
