Emrah Aksu, a shepherd in the Derik district of Mardin, lost his life as a result of an armed attack.
The incident occurred in the rural Bozok neighborhood of Derik district in the morning hours. 38-year-old Emrah Aksu, who was shepherding in the village, was attacked by unidentified individuals.
HE WAS TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL INJURED
Following a report from the locals about Aksu, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the area. Aksu, who was intended to be taken to the hospital by his relatives, was handed over to the health teams on the way. After the first intervention, Aksu was taken to Derik State Hospital.
DESPITE ALL INTERVENTIONS, HE COULD NOT BE SAVED
Emrah Aksu, who was treated in the hospital, passed away despite all the efforts of the doctors. Aksu's body was taken to the morgue of Mardin Training and Research Hospital for autopsy procedures.
AN INVESTIGATION HAS BEEN INITIATED
Gendarmerie teams have launched a wide-ranging investigation to capture the individuals responsible for the armed attack.
