A steel safe weighing 200 kilograms, stolen two days ago in Fatih, Istanbul, by three suspects and containing 10,000 dollars, checkbooks, and personal belongings, was found in an empty lot in Başakşehir. It was determined that the contents of the safe had been stolen, and the police took action to apprehend the suspects.
Three suspects, whose faces were concealed, broke into a cargo shop in Fatih early in the morning and escaped with a steel safe weighing approximately 200 kilograms, containing 10 thousand dollars, checkbooks, and personal belongings. The emptied safe was found two days later in an empty lot in Başakşehir.
The incident occurred at a cargo business located in Kumkapı during the night. The three suspects, hiding their faces with masks and hats, broke the shop's shutter with a crowbar and entered. Two suspects, struggling to carry the approximately 200-kilogram steel safe, were assisted by a person waiting outside. The suspects managed to remove the safe from the shop in 4 minutes and fled.
SAFE FOUND IN BAŞAKŞEHİR
Upon receiving a tip-off, police teams initiated an investigation and determined that the emptied safe was found in an abandoned state in an empty lot in Başakşehir two days after the incident. It was established that the money, checkbooks, passports, and other personal belongings had been stolen.
POLICE ARE ON THE TRAIL OF 3 SUSPECTS
Police are continuing their efforts to capture the three suspects, whose identities they are trying to determine based on security cameras and surrounding evidence.
