The regulation accepted by the TBMM Planning and Budget Commission, which foresaw a flat salary increase of 30,000 TL for personnel in managerial-expert positions in the public sector, was withdrawn following reactions.

According to the information obtained; President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek, and AK Party Group Chairman Abdullah Güler. During the meeting, he received detailed information about the flat salary increase proposal for managerial and expert personnel in the public sector and instructed that the bill be withdrawn in order to protect wage equity and workplace harmony.
