During Police Week, Konyaspor football players served in different branches of the police in police uniforms.
Konyaspor Club organized an event within the scope of the 181st anniversary of the Turkish Police Organization and Police Week.
KONYASPOR PLAYERS' ''POLICE WEEK'' SURPRISE
In the images shared on the club's social media accounts, Konyaspor players Adil Demirbağ, Kramer, Melih İbrahimoğlu, Berkan Kutlu, and Bahadır Güngördü wore police uniforms.
The footballers experienced the challenging working conditions of the police by serving in different branches of the Konya Police Department; they accompanied police officers working at various points, from traffic control to public order patrols.
Due to Police Week, images were shared of Kramer, who wore riot police and traffic police uniforms in the locker room of the stadium, passing through the tunnel in "full gear" and heading towards the duty vehicle.
''CAPTAINCY'' INSPECTION BY ADIL DEMİRBAĞ
Team captain Adil Demirbağ, who went to the application point in a traffic police uniform, introduced himself to the citizens in the stopped vehicles by saying, "I am Konyaspor captain Adil Demirbağ, this week is our police week, and we are accompanying them." The astonishment of the drivers at this greeting was reflected in the footage.
''PENALTY'' THANK YOU TO BAHADIR GÜNGÖRDÜ
Goalkeeper Bahadır Güngördü, who was part of the motorcycle police team, had a football conversation with a driver he stopped. The driver, who is a Konyaspor fan, conveyed his congratulations to Bahadır by saying, "You saved the penalty last week, congratulations. The uniform suits you very well." Melih İbrahimoğlu and Berkan Kutlu, in police uniforms, joined the game of children playing football in the neighborhood. The footballers instilled a love for the police in the little ones and had a great time.
