The accident occurred around 22:00 at the Dilovası location of the TEM Highway. The truck with license plate TRK 826, driven by B.K., heading toward Ankara and loaded with plastic tables and chairs, crossed the central median and entered the opposite lane after its driver lost steering control for an unknown reason, colliding with the car with license plate 34 PLK 403 driven by A.Ö.
THE TRUCK OVERTURNED, THE DRIVER LOST HIS LIFE
After the accident, the truck overturned, and gendarmerie and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The truck driver, B.K., died in the accident. The car driver, A.Ö., and S.A.Ö., who was in the vehicle as a passenger, were injured.
The injured were taken by medical teams arriving at the scene to Gebze Fatih State Hospital, where they were placed under treatment. An investigation into the accident has been launched.
