The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that a Tu-22M3 bomber aircraft crashed in the Irkutsk region, and the crew survived.

In a statement from the ministry, it was stated that a long-range Tu-22M3 bomber aircraft, which was on a planned flight in the Irkutsk region, crashed.

PILOTS RESCUED THEMSELVES

The statement stated that the crew survived by using the ejection seat and that there is no damage at the location where the aircraft crashed. According to initial information, the accident occurred due to technical reasons.
