A young person who idolized a character from a series he watched murdered his 13-year-old daughter.

The horrific incident that occurred in the state of Oregon, USA has concluded. 18-year-old Daniel Gore, who emulated the killer character from the show 'Dexter', was found guilty of murdering 13-year-old Milana Li.

Milana Li's lifeless body was discovered in a creek near her home on May 10, 2022. After a comprehensive investigation, the killer was identified. Camera footage and DNA samples pointed to Daniel Gore, the last person to see Milana.

The diary found in the tent where Gore lived, captured while he was caught in a library, revealed the horrifying truth. In his diary, Gore wrote about his admiration for the killer character in 'Dexter' and his interest in violence, stating, "I feel like Dexter."

The cold-blooded killer stole his victim's phone after the murder and sent messages to her friends. Security cameras showed Gore walking with Milana from the bus stop into the wooded area. Initially trying to deny his crime, Gore was found guilty as all evidence came to light.

For Gore, who is being tried for murder, rape, and sexual harassment, the prosecution has requested a life sentence with the possibility of parole after 30 years. The final sentencing decision is expected to be announced on December 2.
