''I HAD ONLY ONE MISTAKE...''
Avcı, stating that he sometimes stayed in the background due to public perception, said his biggest mistake was "not being able to establish warm communication." Evaluating his Beşiktaş period, Avcı expressed that the processes he went through wore him down considerably, saying, "I had only one mistake, and that was not being able to communicate warmly. Because I didn't want to talk, the process left me out. I went through an emotionally intense period there and gained very important experiences."

The experienced coach stated that social media negatively affected him during three critical periods in his career. Avcı indicated that these periods were the Fenerbahçe head coach agenda, the National Team process, and the second departure process at Trabzonspor.

Abdullah Avcı, who announced that he received an offer from Fenerbahçe after winning the championship with Trabzonspor, said, "After winning the championship with a big club like Trabzonspor, when Fenerbahçe wanted me, I really wanted to be Fenerbahçe's coach. I truly believed I could do it. But as I said, it didn't happen because of social media. This is a disappointment for me."
