In the Kozan district of Adana, an argument between two friends who came from Konya to do business together ended in murder. After the argument between the two turned into a fight, Muhammet Ali Gök struck his friend Muhammet Hasan Koca with an axe, seriously injuring him. Koca, who lost his life after a 3-day struggle in the hospital, died, while the suspect was caught and arrested in the Manavgat district of Antalya, where he fled after the incident.
In the Kozan district of Adana, Muhammet Hasan Koca (20), who was seriously injured with an axe by his friend Muhammet Ali Gök (29) after an argument at a house where they had come to work together, lost his life struggle after 3 days in the hospital. Gök, who fled after the incident and was caught in Antalya, was arrested on suspicion of murder.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, May 12, around 23:00, at Özel Street in Mahmutlu neighborhood of Kozan district.
THEY STARTED ARGUING SUDDENLY
According to the information obtained, an argument broke out for an undetermined reason at the house where Muhammet Hasan Koca and his friend Muhammet Ali Gök were staying. They had come from Konya to the Kozan district of Adana with the intention of working together.
STRUCK HIS FRIEND WITH AN AXE
When the argument quickly escalated into a fight, Muhammet Ali Gök brutally struck his friend Koca with the axe he had with him. Koca, who collapsed in a pool of blood after receiving severe blows to various parts of his body, was taken to Kozan State Hospital by a private vehicle called to the scene. After initial treatment there, the young man, who was in critical condition, was referred to Adana City Training and Research Hospital and taken into intensive care.
MURDER WEAPON FOUND AT THE HOUSE, SUSPECT CAUGHT IN ANTALYA
After the incident, teams from Kozan District Police Department launched an investigation. During a search of the house where the fight occurred, they seized the bloody axe believed to have been used in the incident. The police traced murder suspect Muhammet Ali Gök, who was found to have fled the area, and apprehended him in an operation in Manavgat district of Antalya. After processing at the police station, Gök was referred to the courthouse and arrested by the court on May 14, then sent to prison.
LOST HIS 3-DAY FIGHT FOR LIFE
Despite all the doctors' interventions at Adana City Training and Research Hospital, Muhammet Hasan Koca, who was receiving treatment in intensive care, died on May 15, 3 days after the incident. Koca's body was taken to the Institute of Forensic Medicine morgue for autopsy. The investigation into the incident continues.
