Access to the stand-up show video titled "Dead Sea" by comedian Deniz Göktaş, who was arrested on charges of "insulting religious values" and "insulting the President," has been blocked. The video had been published on YouTube and viewed approximately 12.5 million times. Following the decision, the video has not yet been made invisible from Turkey by YouTube.

NOT YET MADE INVISIBLE FROM TURKEY
According to a statement from the Freedom of Expression Association, an access restriction decision was made for the video in question under Article 8/A of Law No. 5651. It was stated that the video has not yet been made invisible from Turkey by YouTube following the decision.
Access restrictions had also been previously imposed on social media posts containing excerpts from Göktaş's "Dead Sea" show.
ARRESTED ON TWO SEPARATE CHARGES
Deniz Göktaş was arrested on charges of "insulting religious values" and "insulting the President" as part of an investigation launched due to statements in his performance.
