President Erdoğan performed the Eid al-Adha prayer together with citizens at the Büyük Çamlıca Mosque in Istanbul. Among those attending the Eid prayer was Acun Ilıcalı, the owner of Hull City.
Arriving at the Büyük Çamlıca Mosque in the early hours of the morning, Erdoğan exchanged Eid greetings with the congregation after the prayer. Erdoğan, who received great interest from citizens, drew attention with his sincere demeanor at the mosque exit.
OFFERED SIMIT TO JOURNALISTS
President Erdoğan did not forget the media members during the Eid greetings. Moments of Erdoğan offering simit to journalists and chatting with those around him were captured on camera.
The dialogues during the simit distribution also drew attention. When a journalist asked, "Isn't the Rize simit something else?" Erdoğan replied, "No, no... Istanbul simit is different, Ankara simit is different, and Rize simit is entirely different."

Speaking at the mosque exit, Erdoğan emphasized that Eid are days of love, respect, unity, and solidarity, and wished all citizens a happy Eid al-Adha. Erdoğan also chatted and exchanged greetings with citizens waiting for him around the mosque.
