Adnan Oktar: If they give me a room here, I will end violence against women, unhappiness, and war.

Adnan Oktar: If they give me a room here, I will end violence against women, unhappiness, and war.

11.10.2024 15:32

The leader of an organized crime syndicate who has disrupted the lives of hundreds of women and planned their exploitation, Adnan Oktar, made a defiant defense in the current restructuring case. Oktar stated, "If the state assigns me a task, I can stop the war in Gaza within 15 days. I don't even need to be released from prison. If they arrange a room for me, I can easily do it here. I can also ensure that young people are happy. I can eliminate hatred against women. I can bring a festive atmosphere to Turkey."

The organization leader Adnan Oktar is accused of continuing his organizational activities in prison, particularly trying to keep the organization alive through lawyers and aiming to recruit new members for the organization. In the current restructuring case, a letter was sent to the prison regarding Adnan Oktar's request to be present in the courtroom for the next hearing, and the court ruled to continue Oktar's detention and postponed the hearing.

THE CURRENT RESTRUCTURING CASE CONTINUES TO BE HEARD

It was continued to be heard in the current restructuring case against armed criminal organization leader Adnan Oktar, who is accused of continuing his organizational activities from prison, particularly trying to keep the organization alive through lawyers, and also aiming to recruit new members to replace the members of the organization who have been exposed. The hearing, held at the Istanbul 1st Heavy Penal Court, was attended via the Audio and Visual Information System (SEGBİS) by the detained defendant Adnan Oktar. Some of the defendants who are not in detention were present in the courtroom.

"TURKEY'S MOST FAMOUS CRIMINAL LAW PROFESSORS SAY 'THERE IS NO CRIME IN THIS CASE'"

During the hearing, defendant Oktar, who was defending himself, argued that there was no reason for his detention, stating, "I have been sentenced, and I am already detained. There is no robbery, no injury, no threat. It is completely a baseless reason and purpose. Turkey's most famous criminal law professors also say 'there is no crime in this case,' it's hard to believe, this is a serious crime, and no one is taking it seriously. The court knows that I and my friends are innocent," he said. Oktar, who claimed that his detention was unlawful, stated, "I want to attend the hearing to prepare for the court, but this is not possible. My defense is blocked, I can't breathe. The aim is this; to arrest my lawyers and create fear through the press," he expressed.

In the continuation of his defense, Oktar said, "I wanted to hire a lawyer, the officer told me, 'he wants to expand the organization,' and you believed this. We want the court to break this unmanageable game. I want to come to the courtroom and defend myself. You can't see my face, and you don't believe in my sincerity. Some of my statements are taken out of context, but the appreciation is still up to the court. There is no need for prejudice; I am a person who loves my homeland, my nation, and the Turkish Republic. Neither the President nor the opposition has said the slightest bad thing about me," he stated.

"I CAN STOP THE WAR IN GAZA WITHIN 15 DAYS"

Regarding the allegations of sexual abuse, Oktar said, "What is it, I am accused of raping little girls. Could such a thing happen? If such a thing happened, the earth and sky would tremble. My sentence is said to be up to 10,000 years, I don't even care. I am sure that this decision will be overturned and there will not be a single case against me. I am currently waiting for the political atmosphere in Turkey to calm down for this incident to happen. People are enjoying the intense pressure on me. I am someone who has broken the power of militant leftist forces. If the state gives me a task, I can stop the war in Gaza within 15 days. I don't even need to get out of prison. If they arrange a room for me, I can do it comfortably here. I can also ensure that the youth are happy. I can eliminate hatred against women. I can bring a festive atmosphere to Turkey," he said.

While a break was given for the announcement of the interim decision, some defendants and their lawyers tried to obstruct a reporter who wanted to take pictures in the courthouse corridor. Security personnel and courthouse police intervened in the incident. The court, which announced the interim decision, ruled to send a letter to the prison for Adnan Oktar to be present in the courtroom for the next hearing and decided to continue the detention of defendant Oktar, postponing the hearing.
