THEY DID NOT LISTEN TO THE OFFICIALS

The incident occurred near Tersane Beach at Kapuz Avenue around noon. Bayram Kahveci came to Tersane Beach with his friend B.S. (34). After officials warned that swimming was prohibited due to unfavorable weather, the two friends left the beach. Kahveci and his friend went to the rocks about 200-300 meters away and entered the sea from there.

SWEPT AWAY BY WAVES

Shortly after, Kahveci began to be dragged out to sea by the waves. His friend notified the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon the report, Coast Guard, AFAD, police, health, and fire department teams were dispatched to the area. The teams initiated search operations at sea and along the shoreline.

HIS POST BEFORE ENTERING THE SEA DREW ATTENTION

It was observed that Kahveci had shared a photo taken on the rocks on his social media account shortly before entering the sea, accompanied by the folk song 'Hey gidi Karadeniz'. The teams continue their search for Kahveci, who was swept away by the waves.
