Uğur Haliloğlu, the ex-husband of Atilla Taş’s daughter Sezen Taş, who lost her life by falling from the 14th floor, responded to the accusations against him. Haliloğlu, saying that the difficulties Sezen experienced and the process leading to her death would “remain private forever,” stated that he would not hurt the memory of his children’s mother in order to exonerate himself.

Atilla Taş’s 34-year-old daughter Sezen Taş died after falling from the 14th floor of an apartment building in a housing complex in Mersin. Responding to the allegations made about him after her death, her ex-husband Uğur Haliloğlu said that he would not disclose the details of the difficulties Sezen Taş experienced and the process leading to her death.

“THESE ARE MATTERS THAT WILL REMAIN PRIVATE FOREVER”

Haliloğlu said, “The difficulties Sezen experienced, her inner struggles, and the process leading to her death are matters known only to us and the relevant experts and will remain private forever, out of the respect I have for the memory of my children’s mother.”

Emphasizing that he would protect the memory of his children’s mother, Haliloğlu said, “I will not say even a single word that would hurt the memory of my children’s mother just to clear myself.”

“WE DIVORCED BY MUTUAL AGREEMENT 11 MONTHS AGO”

Haliloğlu, who stated that he shared 12 years of his life with Sezen Taş, described experiencing the pain and shock of losing the mother of his two children. He said he remained silent so that his children could get through this process with as little harm as possible, but that he had to make a statement because of the allegations against him.

Explaining that their marriage officially ended by mutual agreement 11 months ago, Haliloğlu denied reports that they were in the process of divorcing or that there had been a fight between them.

HE RESPONDED TO THE ALLEGATION THAT HE ABDUCTED HIS CHILDREN

Haliloğlu, who said that the allegations that he abducted his children also did not reflect the truth, stated that before the incident the children had come to Trabzon with him at Sezen Taş’s request and with her approval.

Stating that this decision was made through mutual discussion with the knowledge and guidance of pedagogues, Haliloğlu reported that legal proceedings would be initiated against those spreading false allegations.
