At the funeral of the Bangladeshi couple who were executed by beheading in Saudi Arabia and whose bodies were sent to their country, the tears of their orphaned young daughters were heart-wrenching, while the Bangladeshi government issued a diplomatic note to Saudi Arabia over the execution without prior notification.

Bangladeshi citizens Nazrul Islam Abdul Basir and Siti Akhtar, accused of committing an "immoral" act in a mosque in the Saudi Arabian city of Mecca, were sentenced to death. Following the ruling, the couple, whose sentences were executed by beheading on October 14, had their headless bodies placed in coffins and sent to their country, Bangladesh.

THEY WERE EXECUTED BY BEHEADING

Saudi authorities did not provide a detailed statement regarding which mosque in Mecca the incident occurred in or when the two people were detained. It was learned that the execution took place on October 14, and the painful picture emerged when the couple's bodies arrived in their country.

DIPLOMATIC NOTE FROM BANGLADESH

Stating that they had not been informed in advance of the process, Bangladeshi officials made a statement regarding the execution decision and procedure, saying "We were not informed," and issued a diplomatic note to the Saudi Arabian administration.

HEARTBREAKING MOMENTS AT THE FUNERAL

The bodies of the Bangladeshi couple sent to their country were buried in their hometown. The tears of their little daughter, who attended the funeral of her mother and father, marked the ceremony and broke hearts.
