In the US, 76-year-old Grace Edge wreaked havoc when she could not accept the relationship between her ex-husband, 75-year-old Wallace Truman Edge, and his 40-year-old girlfriend Pamela Cook. Entering the house where her ex-husband was located and opening fire repeatedly, the woman killed two people and also wounded his girlfriend's 55-year-old mother. It was stated that the woman went directly to the sheriff's office after the murder and was taken into custody, while it emerged that the ex-spouses had divorced more than 10 years earlier but had occasionally continued their relationship.

In the US state of Georgia, 76-year-old Grace Edge is accused of fatally shooting her ex-husband Wallace Truman Edge and his girlfriend Pamela Cook, who is 35 years younger than him. The woman, who is alleged to have been unable to accept her ex-husband's new relationship, reportedly entered the house and opened fire repeatedly. The girlfriend's mother was also injured in the attack, and the suspect was taken into custody shortly afterward.

ENTERED THE HOUSE AND OPENED FIRE REPEATEDLY

The chilling incident occurred on Monday afternoon in the town of Uvalda, in Toombs County, Georgia. According to the allegation, 76-year-old Grace Edge entered a mobile home on McNatt Falls Road and attacked her ex-husband, 75-year-old Wallace Truman Edge, and his 40-year-old girlfriend, Pamela Cook, with a gun. The suspect reportedly fired her weapon five times, and Wallace Edge and Pamela Cook were hit by a total of four bullets. Both died at the scene.

THE YOUNG WOMAN'S MOTHER WAS ALSO SHOT

Pamela Cook's 55-year-old mother, Diane Cook, who was in the house during the attack, also witnessed the terrifying moments. Diane Cook called 911 after hearing gunshots and was wounded in the arm while asking for help.

In her call with the emergency line, the woman said the attacker opened fire without any argument and used the words, "She came in and started shooting." When the operator asked whether there had been any argument before the incident, she replied, "No, she came in and started shooting directly."

COULD NOT ACCEPT HER EX-HUSBAND'S NEW RELATIONSHIP

Toombs County Sheriff Jordan Kight explained that a relationship dispute between the former spouses may lie behind the attack. According to information provided by the sheriff, Grace and Wallace Edge had divorced more than 10 years earlier. However, after the divorce, the two had occasionally gotten back together and continued their relationship.

After Wallace Edge began a relationship with Pamela Cook, new tension arose between the parties. Sheriff Kight said, "Mr. Edge had started seeing Pamela. According to the information we received, it appears Grace did not accept this situation."

WENT TO THE SHERIFF'S OFFICE AFTER THE MURDERS

After the attack in which two people died, Grace Edge was caught within a short time. Sheriff Kight, stating that they believed the suspect went directly to the sheriff's office after leaving the scene, said, "We believe she came directly here, to the sheriff's office, from the house where the incident occurred." The suspect was taken into custody and brought to the Toombs County Detention Center.

THEY HAD CALLED POLICE MANY TIMES BEFORE

Authorities revealed that many disputes had also occurred between the former spouses in the past. According to Sheriff Kight's statement, Grace and Wallace Edge had called the police many times before because of domestic arguments and mutual accusations. However, it was stated that in dozens of past incidents, no custody action was taken against either party.

WILL BE TRIED ON 7 SEPARATE CHARGES

Grace Edge has been hit with a total of seven separate charges due to the deaths of two people and the injury of one person. It was announced that the suspect was charged with two separate counts of premeditated murder, two separate counts of murder, and three separate counts of aggravated assault. The 76-year-old woman, held at the Toombs County Detention Center, was reported to be awaiting her first court hearing. The investigation into the incident continues.
