During the meeting, El Durubi and Emine Erdoğan discussed potential joint efforts regarding women and children in Syria. After the meeting, El Durubi signed the 'Global Zero Waste Goodwill Declaration', which was opened for signature globally at the 78th UN General Assembly in 2023.
