In the 28th week of the TFF 3rd League Group 1, Bursaspor, the leader, defeated Artvin Hopaspor 2-1 in a match played at Balıkesir Atatürk Stadium. With this victory, Bursaspor became the champion, pulling 10 points ahead of its closest rival, Karşıyaka, with just 2 weeks left in the league, and earned promotion to the TFF 2nd League. The historic club, which faced the possibility of relegation and closure down to amateur levels, aims to return to the Süper Lig, where it has previously been champion.
