AKINCI UCAV, developed by Baykar, hit its target with pinpoint accuracy in its first firing test conducted with the Morpho Guidance Kit (MGK) produced by ASELSAN using domestic resources. Taking off from Tekirdağ, AKINCI successfully completed the test in the Gulf of Saros and returned to base. With the new ammunition integration, AKINCI's attack capability has further expanded.

The AKINCI Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicle (UCAV), developed domestically and originally by Baykar, carried out its first firing with the Morfoz Guidance Kit (MGK) developed by ASELSAN as part of the test program. Taking off from Tekirdağ, AKINCI hit the designated target in the Saros Gulf with pinpoint accuracy and successfully completed the test.

IT HIT ITS TARGET WITH PINPOINT ACCURACY ON THE FIRST SHOT

Continuing to improve its capabilities through the integration of domestic and national subsystems and munitions, the AKINCI UCAV successfully completed another firing test.

Within the scope of the test conducted on October 8, 2026, AKINCI took off from the Çorlu Flight Training and Test Center in Tekirdağ. The national UCAV carried ALPAGUT munitions developed by Roketsan and STM using the Morfoz Guidance Kit (MGK) developed entirely with domestic components by ASELSAN.

In the first firing test carried out in the Saros Gulf, AKINCI hit the designated target with pinpoint accuracy using MGK munition, and after successfully completing the mission, returned to the Çorlu Flight Training and Test Center.

NATIONAL MUNITION DIVERSITY IS INCREASING

Within the scope of the AKINCI UCAV's development and munition integration efforts, numerous domestic and national munitions have been integrated into the system to date.

In this context, integrations of MAM-L, MAM-L TV, MAM-T, MAM-T IIR/TV, MAM-C, the TOLUN munition family, TEBER-81, TEBER-82, LAÇİN, LGK-81, LGK-82, HGK-82, GÖKÇE Guidance Kit, GÖZDE Guidance Kit, and KGK-82-UAV were carried out.

In addition, the UAV-300 Supersonic Missile, UAV-230 Supersonic Missile, UAV-122 Supersonic Missile with TV seeker and laser seeker heads, ÇAKIR Cruise Missile, EREN High-Speed Multi-Purpose Loitering Munition, and SUNGUR Air Defense Missile were also included in AKINCI's munition inventory.

Finally, with the successful integration of the Morfoz Guidance Kit, AKINCI's munition diversity expanded even further.

Thanks to national munitions with different range, guidance, and warhead options, AKINCI has attained the capabilities to carry out operational and attack missions against different types of targets.

BAYKAR REACHES $2.2 BILLION IN EXPORTS

Baykar, which has carried out its projects entirely with its own resources since its founding, continued to be the world's largest exporter in the unmanned aerial vehicle segment in 2025.

The company, which has maintained its leadership in the world UAV market for the last 3 years, renewed its own record by reaching an export volume of $2.2 billion in 2025.

Having earned 90 percent of its revenues from exports in recent years, Baykar has held a significant share in Türkiye's high-technology exports.

IT ENTERED THE TOP 10 IN EXPORTS FOR THREE CONSECUTIVE YEARS

Baykar entered the top 10 companies with the highest exports among all sectors in Türkiye in 2023, 2024, and 2025. With this success, the company received the Export Champions Award.

According to data from the Presidency of Defense Industries and the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM), Baykar was the export leader of the defense and aerospace sector in 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024.

While the company alone carried out one third of Türkiye's defense and aerospace exports in 2023, it accounted for one quarter of the sector's total exports in 2024.

With this export performance, Baykar strengthened Türkiye's position in the global UAV market.

IT SIGNED EXPORT AGREEMENTS WITH 39 COUNTRIES

Continuing its operations as the world's largest unmanned aerial vehicle company, Baykar continues to expand its presence in the international market with its Bayraktar TB2 UAV and AKINCI UCAV.

To date, the company has signed export agreements with 36 countries for the Bayraktar TB2 UAV and with 16 countries for the AKINCI UCAV.

Thus, the total number of countries with which Baykar has signed export agreements for unmanned aerial vehicles has reached 39.
