The 168-page MASAK report prepared against the leader of the Suleymancilar, "Alihan Kuris," has exposed the unbelievable methods behind the money flow exceeding 66 billion lira. Ghost companies with zero sales, millions of dollars in cash delivered by hand from abroad, and one of the most striking elements of the system using foundations was the "sacrifice fee." The report revealed in full detail how sacrifice payments were laundered under the guise of "incorrect money transfers."
In the first MASAK report prepared within the scope of the investigation conducted by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, the money transfers carried out through companies linked to the suspects, both domestically and abroad, drew attention.
Accordingly, in the 168-page report, it was determined that Güleryüz Jewelry's banking transaction volume exceeded 66.2 billion liras and cash deposit transactions amounted to 26.2 billion liras, money outflows from Istanbul Hisar Tourism exceeded 8 billion liras, Istanbul Hisar Health Investment, with a capital of 1 billion 358 million liras, had a bank movement of only 34 thousand liras, millions of dollars coming from abroad were withdrawn in cash or transferred to other companies within a short time, and there was a high-volume two-way money traffic between companies.
The banking transaction volume of Güleryüz Jewelry Tourism and Automotive Inc. for the 2017-2026 period was calculated as 66 billion 211 million liras in the MASAK table. During the same period, while 17.26 billion liras of money inflow and 18.32 billion liras of money outflow were recorded, the total cash deposited into company accounts was 26 billion 213 million liras, and the total cash withdrawal was 4 billion 415 million liras.
According to the report, in 2023, cash deposits of 2 billion 89 million liras and cash withdrawals of 1 billion 556 million liras were recorded, while in 2024, cash deposits of 1 billion 417 million liras and cash withdrawals of 826 million liras were recorded.
MONEY OUTFLOW EXCEEDING 8 BILLION LIRAS FROM A SINGLE COMPANY
The report also included the foreign country-linked money movements of Istanbul Hisar Tourism and Trade Inc.
According to the company's transactions linked to foreign countries of 1 million liras and above, only the money outflows linked to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates were recorded as approximately 8 billion liras.
In transactions linked to Saudi Arabia, a money outflow of 4 billion 863 million 884 thousand 701 liras was recorded, against a money inflow of 189 million 358 thousand liras. The money outflow linked to the United Arab Emirates was 3 billion 163 million 164 thousand 102 liras, while an inflow of approximately 18 million liras from this country was detected.
The MASAK report also included money outflows to accounts in Israel, Uzbekistan, India, the USA, Kazakhstan, Morocco, and Spain, as well as in the UK, Jordan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Germany, Albania, and other countries.
According to the report, the total transaction volume of Istanbul Hisar Health Investment and Tourism Trade Inc., established on November 18, 2025, with a capital of 1 billion 358 million 236 thousand 351 liras, remained at only 34 thousand 176 liras in MASAK's banking records. While the company's gross and net sales appeared as zero, it was determined that there were no records of any purchase or sale of goods.
It was stated that most of the company's capital was used to finance the "subsidiaries" account, but no company in which the company was a partner could be reached from VEDOP and GIB records. In the MASAK report, it was stated that this situation was "quite remarkable" for a company found to have no active commercial life despite its very high capital.
MILLIONS OF DOLLARS FROM DUBAI WERE WITHDRAWN IN CASH AND TRANSFERRED TO COMPANIES
In the MASAK report on the "Alihan Kuriş criminal organization for profit," the high-value foreign currency movements coming from abroad into the accounts of Akdeniz Toros Meat and Meat Products Industry and Foreign Trade Inc. were also reflected.
Accordingly, in July 2018, first 2.5 million dollars and then 2.6 million dollars came from FIDATO General Trading on consecutive days. The next day, cash withdrawals of 2.6 million dollars, 1 million 183 thousand 550 dollars, and 1 million 316 thousand 450 dollars were made from the account.
An inflow of 2 million 365 thousand dollars from "Shanghai Omega FZE" entered the account on January 12, 2017, and a cash withdrawal of a similar amount was made the next day. On September 26, 2019, 2 million 250 thousand dollars came from FIDATO, and four days later, 1 million 800 thousand dollars were transferred to Istanbul Hisar Tourism and 450 thousand dollars to Çamlıca Publishing.
On November 15, 2022, an amount of 18 million 392 thousand liras, equivalent to 989 thousand 800 dollars, was deposited into this company's account with the explanation "cash deposited as delivery from Nurettin Kaya." The next day, it was sent to an energy company with the explanation "prepayment for panel purchase for GES." On November 7, 2023, approximately 1 million dollars deposited was also transferred to the same energy company.
"THE SOURCE OF HIGH CASH INFLOWS SHOULD BE CLARIFIED"
In the accounts of Istanbul Hisar Tourism, numerous high-value cash deposit transactions also took place during the 2017-2024 period. Some dollar-denominated cash inflows included the explanations "deposited on behalf of partner İrfan Yılmaz" and "cash deposited as delivery from partner İrfan Yılmaz." On June 25, 2024, a cash deposit of 2 million dollars; on July 31, 2024, 1.2 million dollars; on January 4, 2024, 1 million dollars; and in December 2023, two separate cash deposit transactions of 1 million dollars each on different dates were recorded.
In the report, it was observed that in the billions of liras of cash movements in the accounts of Hisar Health Services Education-Research and Medical Devices Inc., the explanations "delivery from Abdullah Özcan Yavuz," "deposited by Abdullah Özcan Yavuz," and "deposited by Kasım Arınç on behalf of Abdullah Özcan Yavuz" were used.
The report pointed out that "the source of the high cash inflows, especially those emerging in 2024, should be clarified."
In MASAK records, it was observed that Ümran Education Inc. had a money inflow exceeding 1 billion liras and a money outflow of hundreds of millions of liras during the 2017-2026 period.
In the report, it was stated that after the cash deposited into the account or the money coming from associations and foundations, transfers to other companies were made on the same day or in the following days.
"SACRIFICE MONEY" TRAFFIC
In the MASAK report, it was determined that on June 1, 2026, 9 million 300 thousand liras were sent to Mehmet Toktaş with the explanation "Payment for 46 Cattle for Sacrifice," the same money was returned to the Ümran Education account the next day with the note "incorrect money transfer," and then the same amount was sent to Ahmet Seven with the explanation "Producer Payment for 46 Cattle for Sacrifice."
Additionally, on the same days, millions of liras of consecutive cash inflows into the company account and high-value money outflows to different individuals were recorded.
GÜMÜŞSOY SEVİM QURAN READING FOUNDATION HAS A TRANSACTION VOLUME OF 567 MILLION
According to the MASAK report, the banking transaction volume of the Gümüşsoy Sevim Quran Reading Foundation, linked to the investigation, was recorded as approximately 567 million liras during the 2017-2026 period.
According to the report, the money coming into the foundation's accounts, the amounts deposited in cash, and the money inflows with the explanation "donation" were later sent to various companies through high-value transfers.
In this context, approximately 52.1 million liras were sent from the foundation to Ümran Education in 142 transactions, and approximately 38.9 million liras to Yavuzlar Group Construction in 83 transactions.
DETECTION OF "INTENSE CONNECTIONS" IN INTER-COMPANY MONEY TRAFFIC
In the MASAK report, it was determined that there were intense connections among the organizations named in the report, especially Ümran Education, Akdeniz Toros, Çamlıca Publishing, Istanbul Hisar Tourism, Hisar Health, and the Gümüşsoy Sevim Quran Reading Foundation, both in terms of bank transfers and purchase-sale records of goods.
The report also stated that in a significant portion of the companies examined, especially after 2020, and more distinctly from 2022 onwards, there was a serious increase in financial transaction volumes and goods purchase-sale amounts.
Common features highlighted in the report included companies receiving money from payment institutions, high cash circulation, cash inflows from partners whose sources required explanation, and the transfer of these funds to other companies within a short period.
The MASAK report, in its examination of companies and organizations associated with the "Alihan Kuriş criminal organization for profit," included the assessment that "there is suspicion that financial transactions of dubious origin may have been carried out as a result of an organized effort."
DETENTION DECISION ON AUGUST 13
On August 13, within the scope of the investigation into the "Alihan Kuriş criminal organization for profit," the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office issued detention decisions for 49 suspects, and 33 of them were apprehended.
The Chief Public Prosecutor's Office reported that the investigation was being conducted on charges of "establishing and managing a criminal organization," "being a member of a criminal organization," "laundering assets derived from crime," "fraud against public institutions and organizations," and "violation of the tax procedure law."
191 PROPERTIES REGISTERED TO THE KURİŞ FAMILY UNDER INVESTIGATION
Meanwhile, striking property records regarding the Kuriş family's assets have emerged. It was determined that 138 properties were registered under the name of Alihan Kuriş's mother, Ayşe Gülderen Kuriş, and 26 properties under the name of his deceased father, Mahmut Sabri Kuriş. Through examination of the records belonging to family members, it was established that there were a total of 191 real estate properties registered under the Kuriş family, including parents, son, and siblings.
In addition to properties in Kadıköy and Üsküdar in Istanbul, it was observed that there were fields, plots, houses, and independent sections in the Serdivan, Adapazarı, and Erenler districts of Sakarya. It was learned that the acquisition dates, values, and ownership shares of the 191 identified properties are being investigated.
FORTUNE FOUND IN SAFE
Furthermore, it was learned that within the scope of the investigation, in the steel safe seized at Alihan Kuriş's residence, checks worth 3 million dollars, and gold and jewelry valued at 27 million 548 thousand 376 TL were seized.
