SHE WAS REFERRED TO HOSPITAL
The incident occurred in the Ayvanat Neighborhood of Siverek district. According to the allegation, the girl named H.Z. (8) was beaten and burned with an iron by her mother.
The child, who had severe burns on her body, was taken to Siverek State Hospital after intervention by medical teams. After initial treatment there, the child was referred to Şanlıurfa Mehmet Akif İnan Training and Research Hospital and placed under treatment.
3 SUSPECTS, INCLUDING THE MOTHER, DETAINED
As part of the investigation launched after the incident came to light, a total of 3 suspects, including the mother, were detained.
