Alleged incident from Alper Yeğin during the AK Party era: They claim to have bought 4,750 kilograms of baklava on January 1st for 750 TL per kilogram.

Alper Yeğin, who took office as the mayor of Sancaktepe in Istanbul in the local elections on March 31, revealed the details of corruption and waste that he claimed were carried out during the AK Party era. Yeğin said, "On January 1st, they bought 4,750 kilograms of baklava for 750 TL per kilogram. A man brings the invoice, saying that they distributed 500,000 packages of coffee and demanding payment. He came to me asking for the payment for the boxes with AK Party candidate Şeyma Döğücü's name written on the Turkish delight."

The Mayor of Sancaktepe District in Istanbul, Alper Yeğin, revealed the extent of the alleged waste that was carried out during the AK Party era in the September 1st council meeting.

Addressing the District Chairman of the AK Party, Yeğin said, "Why did you hire your relatives? Explain it to the people. Tell us why you made your relatives civil servants. I don't care about the number, whether it's 1 or 10 or 100... On what basis did you do it? You all know very well who is related to whom."

"SOME PEOPLE'S COMFORT HAS BEEN DISRUPTED"

Yeğin continued his words as follows; "There is a handful of minority, their order has been disrupted, their comfort has been disrupted. They used to enter through the front door, leave through the back door, and collect their salaries. No more such order, my friends. Who was his nephew, it's over, it's over, my friends, it's over now."

"I GAVE 500 THOUSAND PACKS OF COFFEE, PAY ME"

These people have bought 4,750 kilograms of baklava. Shouldn't we say it? They bought it for 750 TL per kilogram on January 1st. Today, it's 500 lira per kilogram. The guy comes and says, 'I gave 500 thousand packs of coffee, pay me.' He comes to me and asks for the money for the boxes with AK Party candidate Şeyma Döğücü's name written on them. Why do we publish it on social media, so that everyone hears, everyone knows.

"THE CAR GIVEN TO THE DISTRICT CHAIRMAN IS WASTE"

Waste is hiring the first-degree relatives of every AK Party district executive. It is hiring the relatives of every council member. The car given to the district chairman is waste. The contracts given to him, to others, to his close ones are waste. The imaginary tenders are waste. It is waste to indebt this municipality with 400 million, 500 million just one month before the election. It is waste to spend the municipality's 10-month budget in 3 months. Why doesn't anyone come out and say 'You're lying about the municipality's debt', can you say it, you can't say it."
