AFAD announced that an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.5 occurred in the Pasinler district of Erzurum. It was reported that the tremor was felt in surrounding provinces, but no negative incidents were reported.
According to the information on the website of the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), a tremor measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale was recorded at 04:30, with its epicenter in the Pasinler district of Erzurum. It was determined that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 14.8 kilometers, and it was learned that the tremor was also felt in surrounding provinces.
AFAD: THERE IS NO NEGATIVE SITUATION
AFAD reported that there is currently no negative situation following the earthquake, and field scanning activities are ongoing.
In a statement made on AFAD's social media account, the following expressions were used: "As of now, there is no negative situation following the 4.5 magnitude earthquake that occurred at 04:30 in the Pasinler district of our Erzurum province. Field scanning activities are ongoing. We extend our best wishes to the affected citizens."
