A 5.0 magnitude earthquake occurred in Battalgazi district of Malatya at 06:20. AFAD announced that the earthquake was at a depth of 15.59 km. Governor Yavuz reported that teams have started field scans and no negative reports have been received.

According to the information on the website of the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), a tremor of magnitude 5 was recorded at 06:20, with its epicenter in Battalgazi.

The earthquake was determined to have occurred at a depth of 15.59 kilometers.

"NO NEGATIVE REPORTS"

Malatya Governor Seddar Yavuz stated in a post on his social media account that teams have begun field scans and that no negative findings or reports have been received as of now.

Yavuz extended his well-wishes to those affected by the earthquake.

Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Murat Kurum reported that no negative findings have been identified following the earthquake in the Battalgazi district of Malatya, and that they are evaluating all reports.
