According to the allegation, Saral, who was shot with a handgun by the person he was arguing with, died at the hospital where he was taken. After the incident, police teams launched an operation to capture the fleeing suspect.
An armed attack in the Gölcük district of Kocaeli claimed a life. Murat Saral, an MHP municipal council member of Gölcük Municipality, was seriously injured when the person he was arguing with opened fire with a handgun. Saral, who was taken to the hospital, could not be saved despite the doctors' intervention.
ARGUMENT TURNED INTO ARMED ATTACK
The incident occurred at around 18:00 in Çiftlik Neighborhood of Gölcük district. According to the allegation, an argument broke out between MHP Gölcük Municipal Council Member Murat Saral and A.I.U. for a reason not yet known.
As the argument escalated, A.I.U. fired at Saral with the handgun he had with him. Saral was seriously injured when the bullets hit him.
HE LOST HIS LIFE AT THE HOSPITAL
After the report made following the gunshots, medical and police teams were dispatched to the scene. Murat Saral, who was taken to Gölcük Necati Çelik State Hospital after the initial intervention by medical teams, died despite all interventions made there.
WORK STARTED TO CAPTURE THE SUSPECT
Police teams launched work to capture the suspect A.I.U., who was stated to have fled the scene after the attack. It was reported that the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
Upon hearing the news of the death, Saral's relatives and loved ones flocked to the hospital. Among those who came were Gölcük Mayor Ali Yıldırım Sezer, MHP Provincial Chairman Enes Emengen and district chairmen of political parties.
