A response came from his life partner Jülide Kural to the inheritance disputes that began over Kadir İnanır's will. Stating that İnanır's assets consisted of a house, three old cars, and bank savings, Kural categorically denied the claim of 25 Rolex watches. Reacting to the accusations against her, Kural announced that she would initiate legal proceedings.
The inheritance disputes that began over the will of master actor Kadir İnanır, the legend of Turkish cinema, have received a response from his life partner Jülide Kural. Rejecting the claims that İnanır had a large fortune, Kural disclosed his assets.
THE WILL CAUSED A DISPUTE WITHIN THE FAMILY
Kadir İnanır leaving his assets, copyrights and name rights to his life partner Jülide Kural through a will he prepared before a notary in 2022 caused differences of opinion among family members.
İnanır's nephew Levent İnanır claimed that the health problems the artist experienced when he prepared his will may have affected his will, and announced that they would take legal action.
His other niece, Gül Bakar, stated that she respected İnanır's decision.
"THE CLAIM THAT HE HAD A LARGE FORTUNE IS NOT TRUE"
Speaking to Sibel Yükler from T24, Jülide Kural broke her silence regarding the inheritance disputes.
Responding to claims about İnanır's assets, Kural said, "First of all, the claim that Kadir İnanır had a large fortune is not true. The assets consist of our home where we lived together, three old cars and some savings in the bank."

Also rejecting the claims about valuable watches and collections discussed in public, Kural said, "The frog collection consists of small items with sentimental rather than material value. The mentioned 25 Rolex watches and similar claims are completely fabricated."
"THE REAL ISSUE IS NOT AN INHERITANCE DISPUTE"
Arguing that the claims about her targeted her personality, Jülide Kural opposed evaluating the discussions solely through assets.
Kural said, "The real issue is not an inheritance dispute. The real issue is an attempt to portray an independent woman who existed through her own labor throughout her life as a passive and unqualified person who had latched onto a man's fortune."
"I WAS THE ONE WHO DID NOT FAVOR MARRIAGE"
Touching upon their long-term relationship with Kadir İnanır without marrying, Kural explained that she was the party who did not favor the decision to marry.
Kural said, "I was the one who did not favor marrying because the strength of our relationship with Kadir came not from a legal status, but from our love, our trust and our shared will to live together."
Arguing that after İnanır's illness and death some people tried to interfere in their lives, Kural said, "I do not accept that people who were not in our lives for years try to have a say after his illness and death."
SHE WILL INITIATE LEGAL PROCEEDINGS
Stating that the claims made about her constitute an attack on her personal rights, Kural announced that she would take legal steps through her lawyer Bişar Alinak.
"AH KADIR, THE WORLD HAS BEEN BAD SINCE YOU LEFT"
At the end of her statement, Jülide Kural also expressed the longing she felt for her life partner.
Addressing İnanır, Kural said, "Ah Kadir, the world has been bad since you left... Very bad!"
