Haitham Balidi, a high-ranking member of Hamas' military wing, the Kassam Brigades, lost his life as a result of an UAV attack on Israel's vehicle.
The tension has escalated like never before after the assassination of Hamas Political Bureau Chief Ismail Haniyeh in an attack in the Iranian capital, Tehran. While the whole world is following the developments in the region with concern, this morning an attack was carried out on the vehicle of Haitham Balidi, a high-ranking member of Hamas' military wing, the Kassam Brigades. Balidi was killed in the drone attack carried out by Israel.
CONFIRMED BY HAMAS
The Israeli army carried out an airstrike on Tulkarm in the occupied West Bank. In the attack targeting a moving car, a total of 5 people were killed. Among the casualties was Haitham Balidi, a high-ranking member of Hamas' military wing, the Kassam Brigades. While Balidi's death was confirmed by Hamas, no information was given about the identities of the other 4 deceased individuals.
MOURNING DECLARED IN THE REGION
Following the attack, groups in Tulkarm declared a general strike and mourning. The Israeli army claimed that there were "terrorists" in the vehicle.
