Anthony Taylor has been appointed as the chairman of the Central Referee Board of the Turkish Football Federation.
The Turkish Football Federation announced the decisions taken after the meeting held in Riva.
NEW MHK CHAIRMAN ANTHONY TAYLOR
The TFF announced that Anthony Taylor has been appointed to the chairmanship of the Central Referee Board, which became vacant after Ferhat Gündoğdu. Anthony Taylor became the new chairman of the MHK.
The official statement from the TFF is as follows:
"As a result of the evaluation regarding the vacant memberships in the Central Referee Board; Anthony Taylor, who currently serves as Elite Referee Director, has been appointed as MHK Chairman; Alan Snoddy, Igor Radojicic and Barış Şimşek, who continue their duties as Instructors Responsible for Women Referees, have been appointed as MHK members."
OTHER DECISIONS TAKEN BY THE TFF
"It had been announced to the public that the process regarding the Super League and 1st League broadcasting tender would be concluded on 13 January. As a result of the evaluations of the Tender Commission, it has been decided to bring the tender process forward and conclude it on 30 November.
It has been decided to make a special regulation in the Football Disciplinary Instruction regarding the penalties to be applied for statements made about referees before and after matches.
In addition, the duties and areas of responsibility of the members of the Turkish Football Federation Board of Directors have been determined as follows:
TFF 1st Vice Chairman İbrahim Özbay is responsible for the Super League; Board Member Cengiz Gökay is responsible for R&D, Football Infrastructure and Youth Projects; Board Member Hasan Surözü is responsible for Communication and Marketing; Board Member Fazlı Çilingir is responsible for Club Licensing and Financial Affairs; Board Member Tahir Ediz Kıray is responsible for the A National Team; Board Member Metin Akyüz is responsible for the 2nd League, 3rd League and Amateur Leagues; Board Member Gürkan Uğur is responsible for the 1st League; it has been decided that Board Member Muhammet Akçay will assume the responsibility of Youth, Women's, Beach and Futsal National Teams.
