A pasture dispute that had been ongoing for some time between the Bostankent and Keçidere villages in the central district of Muş turned into an armed clash; two people were injured, one seriously, while gendarmerie took extensive security measures in the area.
Tension between residents of two villages, which had been ongoing for some time due to the use of pastures allegedly belonging to the village of Bostankent, affiliated with the central district of Muş, by the residents of Keçidere village, escalated into an armed conflict after a brief argument.
LAND FIGHT BETWEEN TWO VILLAGES: 2 INJURED, 1 SERIOUSLY
Mahsun T. (27) and Hasan T. (55) were injured in the clash. Health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification. After initial medical intervention by health teams, the injured were taken to Muş State Hospital for treatment. It was learned that Mahsun T.'s condition is serious.
GENDARMERIE TAKES EXTENSIVE PRECAUTIONS
Following the incident, gendarmerie teams took extensive precautions to prevent further tension between the villages. An investigation into the incident has been initiated.
