A luxury villa belonging to 34-year-old Turkish businessman Kutay Aslan, who lives in Thailand, was raided by armed and masked individuals. The attackers beat and handcuffed Aslan and the cleaner in the house, and seized assets worth more than 54 million lira, consisting of cryptocurrency, cash, Rolex watches, and mobile phones. After the robbery, arrest warrants were issued for 5 suspects reported to have fled the country within 6 hours, and an operation was launched through Interpol to capture them.

The luxury villa of 34-year-old Turkish businessman Kutay Aslan, who lives in Pattaya, Thailand, was robbed by an armed gang. After incapacitating the businessman and the cleaner at the house, the attackers made off with a haul worth millions of liras and disappeared.

THEY ENTERED THE VILLA IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT

The incident occurred around 03:30 on the night of October 6 in the town of Nong Prue in the Bang Lamung district of Chon Buri province.

Three people dressed in black, masked, and armed forcibly entered the luxury villa where the Turkish businessman lived.

The attackers beat and then handcuffed Kutay Aslan and the Myanmar national cleaner working at the house, incapacitating them.

A HAUL EXCEEDING 54 MILLION LIRAS

The armed attackers seized the businessman's Tether (USDT) cryptocurrency worth $824,000 after threatening him.

The gang also took 210,000 baht in cash, five Rolex watches, and four mobile phones before leaving the villa.

It was stated that the total value of the stolen money and valuables exceeded 37 million baht, approximately 54.32 million TL.

THEY FLED THE COUNTRY AFTER THE ROBBERY

Thai police, who launched a wide-scale investigation after the robbery, began examining security cameras along the suspects' escape route.

The vehicle used by the attackers was found abandoned in the Jomtien Soi 9 area.

Teams examining the vehicle collected 14 pieces of evidence, including balaclavas, gloves, clothing, and an aluminum ladder.

It was stated that the suspects fled the country within six hours after the robbery.

IDENTITIES OF 5 SUSPECTS IDENTIFIED

Thai police identified five suspects by examining security camera footage as well as witness statements, GPS data, vehicle and accommodation rental records, and immigration bureau information.

An arrest warrant was issued by the Pattaya Provincial Court for 38-year-old Dong Ping, who was determined to have organized the vehicle and house rental transactions, along with Lixinle (31), Wang Hongbo (32), Mu Hongda (33), and Zhiyu Wang (31).

The suspects were charged with armed robbery at night, damage to property, deprivation of liberty, and illegal possession of weapons.

INTERPOL STEPS IN

Thai police, who launched an international effort to capture the suspects, announced that coordination had been established with the Chinese Embassy.

Police officials said, "We are in coordination with the Chinese Embassy to bring the suspects to justice, and we have initiated all necessary legal procedures for Interpol to issue a Red Notice to determine the whereabouts of the individuals."
