Voters in Armenia go to the polls today to elect the parliament that will serve for the next five years. In elections where over 2 million 485 thousand registered voters can cast their ballots across the country, 18 different candidate lists are competing. Voting, which started at 08:00 local time, will end at 20:00.

18 CANDIDATE LISTS COMPETE

In the elections, 18 different candidate lists are competing to be represented in the parliament, which consists of at least 101 seats. Political parties and alliances will seek support from voters to secure a place in the parliament.

VOTING PROCESS BEGAN

Voting started at 08:00 local time at 2,005 polling stations established across the country. Voters can cast their ballots until 20:00. After the polls close, the vote counting process will begin, and the election results will be shared with the public.
