ALLEDGEDLY TARGETED A KEY COMMANDER OF THE QASSAM BRIGADES
Defense Minister Katz provided information regarding the Israeli army's airstrike on Gaza City in a post on his account on the social media platform owned by the US-based X company.
Stating that they gave the order together with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Katz claimed that in the attack on Gaza City, despite the ceasefire, they targeted Izz al-Din al-Haddad, a senior figure of Hamas's military wing, the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades.
A BUILDING CAUGHT FIRE
In footage shared on social media, a building targeted in the attack in Gaza City was seen damaged and burning.
HAD MADE ASSASSINATION THREATS
Israeli Defense Minister Katz had previously made assassination threats against all senior Hamas figures, including Khalil al-Hayya and Qassam Brigades commander Izz al-Din al-Haddad.
