The institution stated that workplaces marked with the letter "K" are monitored as controlled workplaces, and the work done there may not be considered valid for retirement calculations. In this case, even if one retires, if fraudulent insurance is detected during the investigations, the retirement pension may be canceled, and the paid pension will be reclaimed along with interest.
The Social Security Institution (SGK) has issued an important warning that concerns millions of employees. The institution stated that insured individuals with the letter "K" in their service documents viewed through e-Government should be cautious.
WHAT DOES THE LETTER "K" IN THE SERVICE DOCUMENT MEAN?
According to SGK's statement, the letter "K" in the service document indicates that the relevant workplace is monitored under the status of "Controlled Workplace." Insured work reported at these workplaces may not be valid for retirement calculations.
PENSION PAYMENTS MAY BE CANCELLED
Even if one retires, if fraudulent insurance is detected as a result of investigations, pension payments can be cancelled, and the paid salaries and benefits will be reclaimed with interest.
The institution emphasized that the "Service Document" page on e-Government should be regularly checked.
