A second hike in fuel prices is on the horizon within a few days. According to industry sources, of the expected 2.08 TL increase in the product price, 1.56 TL will be reflected in pump prices. With the latest increase, the total rise in the price per liter of gasoline will reach 2.62 TL in a short time.
Momentum in fuel prices continues. Following the 1.06 TL increase in the liter price of gasoline a few days ago, another increase is expected to be reflected at the pump as of midnight tonight.
FLUCTUATIONS IN GLOBAL MARKETS ARE HAVING AN IMPACT
Changes in oil and product prices in global markets, along with fluctuations in the energy sector, continue to be decisive on fuel prices in Türkiye. As a reflection of these developments, successive changes are occurring in gasoline prices within a short period.
IT WILL BE REFLECTED AT THE PUMP AS 1.56 TL
According to information obtained from industry sources, an increase of 2.08 TL in gasoline product prices is anticipated as of Monday midnight. However, according to calculations, not all of this amount will be reflected to the consumer. 1.56 TL of the expected 2.08 TL increase will be added to pump prices as a hike.
A TOTAL INCREASE OF 2.62 TL IN A SHORT PERIOD
With the implementation of the new hike, gasoline prices will have risen for the second time within just a few days. With the combination of both hikes, the total increase in the liter price will reach 2.62 TL.
