Operating since 1986 and presenting its products to consumers in both Turkey and the European market, Baktat Olive has entered the concordat process after experiencing a financial bottleneck. The Bursa 3rd Commercial Court of First Instance granted the company a one-year definitive period to recover its financial structure, while appointing a new three-member concordat commissioner committee.
A critical decision has emerged from the judiciary for Baktat Zeytin, a long-established company operating in the Akhisar district of Manisa, which has been supplying olive products to both the domestic market and Europe since 1986. The company, which declared concordat to overcome its financial bottleneck, was granted a one-year definitive grace period by the Bursa 3rd Commercial Court of First Instance, considered the last resort before bankruptcy.
NEW COMMISSIONER BOARD APPOINTED
To stabilize the financial structure of Baktat Zeytin, under the management of company owner Ali Baklan, and to ensure transparent oversight of the process, the court formed a new concordat commissioner board. Lawyer Hakan Yıldız and Certified Public Accountants Engin Dinçeli and Birol Aslan were appointed as the board.
MEASURES EXTENDED
According to information reported by NTV, it was ruled that all precautionary measures implemented during the temporary grace period to rectify the company's financial situation would continue unchanged, and it was also decided that the fees of the three appointed commissioners would be covered directly from the company's assets.
