The Chairman of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), Devlet Bahçeli, pointed to a constitutional arrangement for President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to be able to run for election again during his party's group meeting.

Bahçeli stated in the meeting, "If there are those who have questions in their minds; if terrorism is eradicated from our lives, if the inflation monster is struck down, isn't it a natural and correct choice for Mr. Erdoğan to be elected once again? How will those who cannot find peace with each other resolve Turkey's discrimination? For the future of the Century of Turkey, Mr. Erdoğan is a guarantee, and in our view, he is the only option. In this context, a constitutional arrangement should be made."
