Tuana Torun, a 16-year-old who came into the spotlight due to harassment allegations against former Görele Mayor Hasbi Dede and lost her battle for life after a traffic accident, was laid to rest today. The funeral ceremony was filled with tears, and her mother's cries broke hearts.
The 16-year-old Tuana Torun, who stated that she was harassed by the former Mayor of Görele, Hasbi Dede, and who passed away after being severely injured in a traffic accident while receiving treatment, was bid farewell on her final journey.
HER FUNERAL WAS BROUGHT TO GÖRELE
After the necessary procedures, Torun's funeral was brought to her hometown, Görele. A funeral ceremony was held in the district to say goodbye to the young girl.
In the funeral ceremony held at Hasan Ağa Mosque, her mother Nuray and father Ahmet Torun, as well as relatives, Görele District Governor İbrahim Civelek, Secretary General of the Provincial Special Administration Tolga Erener, and many citizens attended.

Emotional moments were experienced during the funeral ceremony, where it was seen that mother Nuray Torun could not hold back her tears and was comforted by her relatives.
Tuana Torun's funeral was buried in the family cemetery in Sağlık village after the funeral prayer held at noon.
SHE HAD BEEN SEVERELY INJURED IN THE ACCIDENT
The car driven by A.H. (23), which was heading towards Trabzon, hit Tuana Torun at the location of the Görele Bridge on the Black Sea Coastal Road, and the young girl, who was severely injured, was taken to Giresun Education and Research Hospital.
After the accident, the driver A.H., who fled the scene, was caught and detained by the police. The suspect was arrested by the court after being questioned by the prosecutor's office.
Tuana Torun was the victim in the case of "sexual harassment against a child," in which Hasbi Dede, who was removed from the position of Mayor of Görele, was being tried without detention.
HER ORGANS GAVE HOPE TO 5 PEOPLE
Tuana Torun's family made the decision to donate the organs of their daughter, who was still in the bloom of her youth. The organs taken by expert teams were sent to patients in Ankara, Istanbul, Samsun, and Erzurum.
